"Elsewhere", captures a whimsical otherworldly night scape, featuring vivid pink flowering trees a moon rise, and a golden, shimmering land beyond. In the foreground water rushes past a flowered forest floor. You can just imagine yourself going on a stroll to watch the moon rise over the trees. GICLEE PRINT OPTION- I do my own printing in-house on a professional wide-format pigment ink jet printer. This photograph is printed on fine art photo paper. The result is a beautifully vibrant archival print made to last a lifetime. Giclee print includes an additional white border for easy matting & framing, is signed & dated by the artist. Giclee prints are ready to ship within 2-3 days. Please allow for slight color variation due to difference in monitors. The watermark will not be present on purchased giclee prints.
ABOUT THE METAL PRINTS OPTION- Metal Prints represent a new art medium for preserving art by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Your images will take on a magical luminescence. You've never seen a more brilliant and impressive print! Colors are vibrant and the luminescence is breathtaking. Detail and resolution are unsurpassed. Metal Prints endure the test of time! AWESOME! Metal prints are all made-to-order via a 3rd party professional photo lab and so may take 1-2 weeks to process and ship, but are worth the wait.
THE CREATIVE PROCESS: All of my giclee prints are composed of many, many layers of my photographs that are uploaded to my computer and through the magic of technology become art. Most images take many days, weeks, and one a year, to complete. I have full control of the artistic process, from the capturing of the original photographs, to the developing (in the case of negatives), scanning, creation of artwork, printing, and finally shipping to the customer.

My father gave me the gift of a camera when I was six years old. From then on, I was hooked. That little Kodak Instamatic went everywhere I did. In 1993, years on down the line, I began formal training, and soon the student became teacher and artist. Over time I have won awards and worn many hats: dark room technician, studio photographer, tutor in digital art, gallery director and curator.
I find inspiration in many places, in nature, but also song lyrics, books I read, poetry, films and everyday life. I have two series that are currently in production. The first is based a woman’s body metamorphosizing into other forms, the second is a fantasy landscape series that features my native Colorado. The most popular images contain parts of the burn scars from the Hayman and Black Forest Fires. Recently I’ve started printing on metal. I am a long way away from the darkroom these days.
My work can be found "live" in Commonwheel Artist Co-op, in Manitou Springs, Colorado, where I am a member.
