2021 Music At the Festival Check our website for any changes of the date or time each band will play a two-hour set. Saturday September 4 12 pm - 2 pm J Miller Band 2:30 - 4:30 pm Snake and the Rabbit @snakeandtherabbit www.snakeandtherabbit.com Snake and the Rabbit is the lovechild of husband and wife, Brett and Leanna Patterson. The two songwriters have been writing and playing together since 2010. In November of 2018 the duo decided to cut the dead weight and perform strictly as a two-piece from here on out. The result is Snake and the Rabbit: a stripped down, minimalist approach to Americana music heavily influenced by Psychedelic folk, American blues, Outlaw Country and lo-fi Garage Rock. Sunday September 5 12 pm - 2 pm Leo & the Lark @leoandthelark www.leoandthelark.com Featuring the vocal, ukulele, guitar, and piano talents of Kiera Lynn, coupled with Michael Edmiston's impeccable rhythmic finesse, Leo & the Lark is an acoustic duet with a sound that ranges anywhere from a haunting ghost lullaby to a funk jam that you can get down to (and everything in between). Their fluid chemistry is something not only to be heard, but also seen. Catch them currently around Colorado on the Front Range for a dynamic experience that should not be missed. 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm James Wallace & Co. @JWandCOband https://www.facebook.com/JWandCOband Monday September 6 12 pm - 2 pm Roma Ransom @romaransommusic www.facebook.com/romaransommusic Great music should do three things- connect you to the past, inspire you to envision the future, and find you wholly in the present moment. Roma Ransom does all three. Their repertoire includes old-time traditional ballads like Shady Grove and St.James Infirmary as well as sounds from European cultures, mainly that of Romania (hence the duo's name) yet the music of Roma Ransom is distinctly their own. The sultry sweetness of Grace Easley on vocals paired with the couples' vast instrumental array combine to form a style that can fit the mood for any setting. The couple was trained classically from an early age, (Grace on violin/viola, Gordon on guitar) making them an excellent choice for weddings and banquets in addition to their usual venues, namely restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm High Mountain Duet @highmountainduet www.facebook.com/highmountainduet High Mountain Duet is a heartfelt acoustic husband/wife duo featuring James and Samantha Galloway from Manitou Springs Colorado, known for playing original, traditional, and contemporary Americana with an upbeat “folkgrass” approach. Often accompanied by Jon Murphy on upright bass, James and Samantha take influence from classic duets such as Johnny Cash and June Carter to modern duets like Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Music arranged by Kiera Lynn. |
