About Us:
We are a husband and wife team that makes a variety of glass art.  We first fell in love with glass while learning glass bead making, also called lampworking.  We enjoyed lampworking so much that we decided to finish our college educations at  Emporia State University in Kansas where we pursued Bachelors of Fine Art degrees with an emphasis in glass forming.

During our time at ESU, we were introduced to many other glass forming processes such as fusing, slumping, off-hand blowing, and casting.
While we do collaborate on our pieces, we also have our own artistic sensibilities.  Amanda enjoys the sculptural qualities of glass and the pursuit of creating pieces that she feels are unique.  Her motto has become: "Destruction is easy.  Creation is hard."  Jon enjoys inventing color combinations and the activity of working the glass into the shape he desires, which he describes as "playing with lava."

We live in Colorado Springs with our awesome Jack Russell Terrier, Ruby (the wonder dog).
