Fine for missing more than 2 meetings is equal to the current monthly dues.


Section B. Monthly Membership Meetings.

  1. There shall be a monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month.
  2. The date can be changed by a vote of the general Membership when the first Monday conflicts with a national holiday or the business of the organization. The Board or general Membership can determine, by majority vote, to not meet in a specific month.
  3. Notices of monthly meetings shall include the place, date and time.
  4. During these meetings Members will receive reports by officers, Members of the Board, staff and committees. Transaction of other business may occur.
  5. Attendance at monthly Membership meetings is mandatory. A Member in Good Standing may not miss more than two (2) meetings in any calendar year.
  6. If a Member who knows he or she will need to miss more than two (2) meetings they must petition the Board in writing and receive a written agreement from the Board to miss a third meeting or serve the defined penalty, a monetary payment equal to the amount of a monthly dues payment to be paid to Commonwheel within 30 days of the missed general meeting.
  7. Should the scheduled meeting date become necessary to change, due to weather or other circumstances, the Board may waive the mandatory attendance.
