Paperback edition of "Lessons From Past Floods: Destruction, Restoration and Future Preparation."

Julia L. Wright has lived in Manitou Springs, Colorado since 1976.  She has experienced two floods and an evacuation from a nearby fire.  Julia shares her true stories about these floods and the very short notice evacuation.  She learned some very important lessons which she share in this book, about how everyone should and can be better prepared if you experience a Natural Disaster.  Photographs and restored historic buildings that were almost destroyed by flood or fire demonstrate how, with a bit of faith, vision and investment, by people who believe in their intrinsic value can be beautifully repaired to be useful and enjoyed for many years.  Don't get caught unprepared when Mother Nature display her ugly side.  Use this book as a guide to prepare your family to survive any Natural Disaster that occurs in your life.
