Holiday Market
november 15th - december 30th
The 2019 Holiday Market held at Commonwheel Artists Co-op offers a unique shopping experience to our patrons for Colorado artisan handmade gifts. The Market features more than 40 local artists working in a variety of media such as ceramics, glass, fiber, paintings, photography, woodworking, jewelry and more.
This year, our Annual Holiday Market will run from November 15 - December 30 and will be open 7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm through the peak Holiday season at our highly visited and charming downtown location in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
Artists interested in participating are invited to submit to jury 3 to 5 samples of unique, hand-crafted, high-quality holiday related gift items, reasonably priced under $100.
Sample intake is September 8, 9, 10 & 11 between 10 am and 6 pm at our shop. A one time non-refundable $10 jury fee is due at this time, as well as a short bio, art statement and each item description (see printable Jury form below). Artwork must be picked up September 12 (one day only) from 10 am to 6 pm. Artists will be notified of application status at that time.
Artists keep 60% of sales for all artwork sold during the market, and Commonwheel retains 40% commission.
Commonwheel staff oversees the artist’s sales, displays, merchandise, daily restocks and actively promotes the market through social media and email marketing. Artists are encouraged to promote and share the market.
