Silences is a gallery exhibit presented by Commonwheel Artist’s Coop featuring photographs from an ongoing project by photographer Matthew Salomon accompanied by urban landscapes by Tylan Troyer and pottery by Jerry Rhodes. The featured art aims to move viewers closer to a universal grammar of silence, where the images can be seen as the poet’s blank page.
Most of the photographs that Matthew selected for this exhibition were taken Colorado. These images are likely to be familiar to all who inhabit or who have the opportunity to visit this beautiful place.
Matthew Salomon is retired and lives in Divide, Colorado where apart from photography he spends most of his free time reading, writing and traveling.
He is honored to have his photography exhibited alongside the works of the gifted artists Jerry Rhodes and Tylan Troyer and to have it viewed and enjoyed by all who attend the exhibition.
