WHEN: 9am – noon: Printmaking Demos with Ron Mier, Santa Fe artist – and other artists
Bring a brown bag lunch or enjoy a nearby restaurant
1 – 3pm: Panel Talk: Panel of Printmakers

WHERE: Cottonwood Center for the Arts, 427 E. Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, CO

Ever wonder how some of those amazing images are created? Printmakers are artists who think differently. They create their art in mirror image of the final product: the printing plate is the reverse of the print itself. And there is always a touch of uncertainty as to how things will come out when the pressure is applied and the ink is put to paper.

Come see the dazzling results at the opening of Under Pressure: a Printmakers’ Invitational Show, Demo, and Panel Talk the first weekend in June!

See monotypes, etchings, clay prints, woodblock prints, linocuts, collagraphs and more! See your favorite artists’ work and some of the artists themselves!
