Festival Coordinator

Commonwheel member Julia Wright coordinated the Commonwheel Art Festival from 1976-2001 and returned to this position for the 2006 Festival. She began her art career in theatre in 1973 and soon began creating artwork in various fiber media. Her feather masks, jewelry and decorative wall pieces can be seen at www.FantaFaces.com and at Commonwheel Gallery. She is a member of the Manitou Springs Art Council and has been an active participant in bringing fine art and crafts to the region since 1976.
