What people say about Commonwheel

“I believe in supporting our local arts community and Commonwheel is a great place to find handmade art by local artists--pottery, jewelry, clay sculpture, fiber, turned wood, feather masks, cards, wall art including watercolor, mosaic, photography, stained glass, oil, wood, scratchboard, quilts and prints.”

“They have a fabulous array of fine art and crafts. When you want to buy a gift, they have something that is perfect.”

“Great local art and interesting gallery shows that change each month.”

“The large variety of art from local artists. Especially good if you're interested in Ceramics, Jewelry, Wall Art, and Wood Turnings.”

“I was just getting ready to drop you a line to tell you how cool it was that you guys had people manning the recycle drop offs. I finally made it down to the fair late Monday afternoon. I made the loop through the crafts and then was watching some of the entertainment. I was near the recycling bin to the North of the stage. I saw this young man with rubber gloves guide a fair goer to the proper receptacle and take care of his plastic lemonade cup. I was impressed by the effort! I told the guy and thanked him and it just gave me a great feeling to see this effort. I later ran into my buddy Della Garelle and she was doing the same thing over on the Southeast corner of the park. She told me about the lady taking all of the paper etc. up to A1 Organics north of Denver. I thought that was really neat as well. I have often thought about all of the waste generated by not just the Commonwheel Fair, but by other such events and that it would be neat if they were more conscientious. It made me be proud to be a member of this community. Maybe I can help out down the road.”
