As a Co-op, our strength is our diversity, and our diversity evolves from a mix of styles. If you've applied before and not been accepted, please consider applying again, as our needs are always changing.
3D Artist (any art that sits on a shelf - metal, stone, fiber, wood, glass, mixed media, etc.)
Commonwheel Artists Cooperative has an opening for a new member. Application is available on this website or pick up at Commonwheel, 102 Canon Ave., Manitou Springs, CO. Application is due Tues, May 14 by 6 pm along with all paperwork and CD or photos of 5-10 examples of your work.
Commonwheel Visiting Artist Monthly Gallery Shows
The Commonwheel Gallery encourages new and unique work for our Gallery shows. Having exceptional shows enhances the prestige of Commonwheel as well as the visiting artist, making customers more aware of the shop. New work also inspires you, the artist, to explore new areas of your medium, or other media. Often the outcome from such explorations transforms routine work, and suggest new direction. Openings with themes that integrate music, food, and the work itself into a genuine event generate excitement about the work and the Gallery, benefitting everyone. Applications for the 2014 Gallery jury selection are due Monday Aug 13, 2013 by 8pm.
